Environmental Management System

The Company has established environmental, occupational safety, and health (EHS) management regulations in accordance with environmental protection laws and regulations promulgated by Taiwan’s Ministry of Environment (including, but not limited to, the Air Pollution Control Act, the Water Pollution Control Act, the Waste Disposal Act, and the Toxic and Concerned Chemical Substances Control Act). The headquarters promotes and implements environmental management activities across all retail stores and operating sites, with the objectives of protecting natural resources and reducing the risks associated with hazardous substances.

Management Purpose

The Environmental Management System sets forth requirements governing the Company’s products, services, office operations, and related activities. It aims to effectively manage any negative environmental impacts or non-compliance issues, continuously improve overall environmental performance, and provide guidance to responsible units in the execution of their duties.

Scope of Application

The scope of application of the Environmental Management System includes the Company, its subsidiaries, and cooperating suppliers. Suppliers refer to qualified vendors that conduct business with the Company and its subsidiaries in accordance with the Vendor Management Procedures.

  • In 2025, the Company implemented the following maintenance and improvement measures across all retail stores:
    1. Retail stores progressively replaced fixed-speed or aging air-conditioning systems with Fujitsu energy-efficient inverter air conditioners, in line with the objective of managing CO₂ emissions.
    2. Retail store air-conditioning systems underwent annual routine cleaning and maintenance to maintain cooling efficiency, in line with the objective of managing CO₂ emissions.
  • In 2025, the Company completed the Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Forms and the Hazardous Chemicals and SDS Document Control Forms for the headquarters and 34 retail stores.
  • In 2025, the Company completed periodic environmental cleaning and water quality testing for the headquarters and 34 retail stores, using government-approved cleaning products or products certified with eco-labels or other environmental certifications.
  • In 2025, a total of 20 contractors completed and signed the Contractor Construction Safety and Health Management Regulations, Penalty Provisions for Violations, and Consent Forms.
  • In 2025, the Company engaged a third-party professional institution accredited by the Ministry of Labor to conduct the Headquarters Environmental Monitoring Plan and the Headquarters Environmental Monitoring Report.
  • In August 2025, rodent, mosquito, cockroach, and ant control, as well as vector prevention and disinfection operations, were carried out in public areas of the headquarters campus using products approved by the Environmental Management Administration or certified with eco-labels or other environmental certifications, in compliance with environmental regulations.
  • In October 2025, the Company participated in the “2025 AI Sports Challenge,” encouraging employees to actively engage in physical activities through an innovative and health-oriented approach to enhance physical well-being, reduce carbon emissions, and achieve dual benefits for both the environment and individuals. The Company was awarded first place in the Corporate Category of the competition.
